Teacher of Liangshan Yuanguan. The Chanlin sengbao zhuan (1124), the Caodong records after it and the Denkōroku make him the heir of Tongan Daopi; the Jingde chuandeng lu (1004) lists him under Tongan Wei, heir of Jiufeng Puman. The Song records call him Tongan Zhi and give no dates; the name Guanzhi is from texts of the thirteenth century and later.
